The August 2017 flooding and mudslide buried nearly one thousand residents of Freetown, Sierra Leone. Many were buried alive, few were rescued with injuries, and some are still missing. Nearly 20,000 people are currently displaced. Current needs are semi-permanent housing for widows and children, household goods, food, and ongoing support in the coming months.
