A Million Hearts for Africa

A Million Hearts for Africa
Fifty boys and girls, some as young as five years of age were crossing a river in Northern Sierra Leone to attend a school Ihsan had just opened on the other side of the river. Once they crossed the river, they would have to walk miles before reaching their destination. A generous Atlanta community has since built a school for the children on their side of the river. Millions of children in Africa continue to grow in desperate poverty, and deprived of the benefits of education.
However, by joining Ihsan’s Million Hearts for Africa (MILHA) project, you can help reverse this trend and bring hope back to those children.
Help support MILHA. $20 a month educates a child!
About MILHA
The MILHA project focuses on making education a right and not a privilege for every African child. It takes an average of $20 a month to open the doors of education to a needy child. We invite you today to join this fellowship of goodwill, and become a helper for Africa’s poor.

A New Community for You
Ihsan will organize the participants (Ansar) in this initiative into villages. In Africa each project and the community it serves will be another village. Ihsan will thus link a village to another village. Some African villages will be around existing projects, while others will be around new projects initiated by a group of Ansar.
Our father Abraham e was, in the words of Allah, a nation by himself. We can therefore have villages made up of organizations, institutions, a mosque, a group of Ansar, families, and even individuals. Each Ansar village will have a name such as Rahma, Marhama, and Birr.

A Dream Unfolds
If you have dreamed of being personally responsible for the education of a deprived child in Africa, now is the chance to make your dream come true. Your $20 a month donation will be responsible for the education of a child. And no commitment is too big. Simply donate an amount, any amount on a regular monthly basis.
Individuals, families, groups of friends, institutions, organizations and communities can provide education to hundreds by adopting one of Ihsan’s schools, or creating a new one. It takes on the average seven hundred dollars a month to adopt and run a secondary school or a teachers training institute.
Meanwhile, the students you support and the communities they come from will become part of your extended family. You will come to know intimately the challenges they face, and you will nurture their hopes for a brighter future. This is the way we will transform Africa, together! Truly, what a blessing! And what prospects of tremendous reward and blessings from Allah!
